Welcome to the Webley Home Page
Webley is probably the oldest name in the British gun industry – able to trace its origins back to 1790 when William Davies started making bullet moulds in his factory in Birmingham, England.
Over the years the company gained a worldwide reputation for high quality guns of all types. As far back as 1911 the company had patented an air pistol and in 1924 launched the Mark I air pistol. Many other models have followed over the years but all have had Webley’s core values of high quality, high performance and value for money at their heart.
Over the past couple of decades the company has led a precarious financial existence until tragically it was forced to call in the receivers at the end of 2005. In March 2006 Airgunsport, the leading supplier of airguns and accessories purchased the company and saved this famous name from extinction. The launch of the improved Xocet, Xocet XS and Longbow models in July 2006 was met by universal praise from retailers and consumers alike, with sales of over 800 of these new rifles in that first month alone.
The company's exciting future plans include the return of the highly acclaimed Raider 10 and the eagerly awaited reintroduction of Webley Air Pistols in 2007.
